Look what’s coming in 2027!
You know it as the Craft Championship, but in 2027, ABC Maine’s annual event is getting a new name and an exciting hands-on focus! Try A Trade will bring students in grades 9–12 together to explore construction careers through hands-on trade booths, equipment simulators, and interactive experiences with industry professionals. It’s the same event, same venue, and same team—just a new name and more opportunities for students to get hands-on with the trades!
This event continues to grow as one of the state's most impactful workforce events. This year, 1,000+ students explored hands-on trades while connecting directly with industry professionals.
With 40+ companies participating, the event continues to build meaningful connections between students and Maine's construction workforce.
