Over 1,000 high school students from around the state attended the Craft Championship at the Augusta Civic Center on Friday, April 4^th.  Students had the opportunity to experience a variety of skill sets that might be encountered in the construction industry.

Approximately 45 contractors/businesses/schools set up booths, tables, exhibits, and projects with hands-on activities to engage students and meet their future workforce face to face.  

During the Craft championship, 19 students from 8 CTE schools competed in the Electrical Competition. 

The following are the winners:

1st Year Electrical Competition:  Jake Barber – Sanford Regional Technical Center

2nd Year Electrical Competition:  Tyler Clark – Somerset Career & Technical Center

Riley Bouley Award—Brady Bryant—Waldo County Technical Center
