Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) is the largest open shop construction trade association in the United States. As the economy is proving to be somewhat challenging and the political climate continues to change, ABC is fighting even harder to keep bidding free and open so you can fairly and competitively bid on projects. ABC has seen an increase in union attempts to place Project Labor Agreements (PLAs) on public works projects, as well as an increase in job targeting on private work.
It is imperative, now more than ever, that the merit shop contractors ban together to stop the implementation of PLAs, job targeting and discrimination, so you and all merit shop contractors can bid competitively.
