LEWISTON, ME – Jim and Nancy Lamson, owners of L&B Electrical Contractors, Inc. were recently awarded the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce Lisbon Business Award. In a ceremony at the Chamber’s 118th Annual Meeting at the Ramada Conference Center in Lewiston, the Lamsons accepted the award before a sold-out crowd.

“In addition to developing their successful electrical contracting business in the Lisbon industrial park,” said Chamber President Chip Morrison, “the Lamso’s have been instrumental in assisting the growth of the Moxie Festival.”

The Lamsons also received a Legislative Sentiment from local legislators recognizing their achievement. Presented on behalf of the members of the 122nd Legislature and sponsored by Representatives Bob Berube and Michael Vaughn and Senator Nutting, the sentiment congratulated Jim and Nancy on the occasion of their receiving the Lisbon Business Award, noting their active involvement in the community and commending them on the strong family-like work environment they provide for their employees.
